Today we ran 20 miles. It was pouring down raining and the wind gusts were up to 40mph. Actually, we ran through a thunderstorm with lightening & thunder. When we finished our run, we learned there was a tornado warning until 11pm that night. CRAZY!
We were soaked from head to toe and probably were carrying around at least 10 extra pounds of soaking wet clothing (yes, we weighed it!) by the end. Our time was a little less than desirable (3 hrs, 43 mins, 45 secs), but given the conditions, I'd say it was just fine!! I mean, survival was our ultimate goal, and we lived to blog about it!! :)
