Day 30: Let it Snow!

It's a blizzard out there!  No kidding, the snow was beating down on us this morning at 5:20am on our 4 mile run.  As far as I can remember, that's the first time we've actually run while it's snowing, although definitely not the first time running on top of of the snow.  Poor Athena, she could barely see through her glasses.  I felt like I had snow drifts on my eyelids.  Ben complained of burning eyeballs. (I think he just needs to change his contacts!  : )  The sidewalks were not nearly as treacherously icy as in the past, so I can't say the weather made this run too unbearable.  My body just generally rebels at movement. 


We completed the 4 miles in about 44 minutes...not breakin' any records, but considering the blizzard, I'd say that's pretty good.  


Now, to go wash the blood off my clothes... I tell ya, it was a tough run. (haha, Ben...)
